discover scuba diver
A PADI Discover Scuba Diver program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of one of our PADI instructors.
The program is for absolute beginners and can be completed within a day.
It is suitable for persons that do not have time for the full Open Water Diver Course but still really want to try diving.
What's in it for you
Pre-dive training
Prior to departure students watch the Discover Scuba Diver video which will take around 25 minutes.
Instructor Presentations
Available in various languages, our instructors will carefully explain each element of the student training.
Your first breaths
Students practice their first breaths on the boat and once comfortable practice breathing in the water at the surface.
Shallow water training
After mastering the breathing the instructor demonstrates how to practice easy skills in very shallow water.
The first dive
Upon completing the skill development phase, you will then go with the instructor for the experience part of the dive.
Discovering marine life
During the 45-60 minute dives you will discover many interesting animals that our instructors will help you to identify.
Lunch and refreshments
During the trip we offer, tea, coffee, fresh water and fruit. Between the dives we shall also offer a light lunch.
The second dive
After a short interval in one of the beautiful bays on Phi Phi Ley you will take the second dive at another dive site.
After the experience.
Upon return to base we shall present you with a DSD completion certificate and now you are ready for the next step.
