divemaster course
Our Divemaster program is a 4-6 week course that will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to a professional level. It develops your leadership skills and will qualify you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors. Take one step further with an Internship and be integrated into the dive team, learn additional divemaster skills in the water and around the dive center.

Knowledge Development:
This is completed through a combination of independent study assignments, instructor presentations and discussions.
Stamina
Evaluation of 4 swim circuits: 400 meter swim, 15 minute tread, 800 meter snorkel, 100 meter inert diver tow.
Diver Rescue
Development and evaluation of candidates rescue skills.
Confined Water Skills
Developing demonstration-quality skills for assisting instructors with Open Water students and Discover Scuba students.
Practical Application
Developing professionalism, Advanced Mapping Skills, Equipment Exchange, Divemaster - conducted programs
Leadership Evaluation
Development and evaluation of leadership skills working with non certified and with certified divers.
Internship (Option 1)
3 month course, involving full integration to the dive team. Ideal preparation for starting work as a Divemaster.
Practical Assessments (Option 2)
Certified divers in Open Water, Open Water students in Confined Water and Open Water, Continuing Education students
Open Water Diving
As many dives as required to complete the course as a PADI Divemaster.
Includes: PADI Divemaster Pack, Full diving equipment, Tea, coffee and water, Lunch and fruit, PADI instructor, National Park fees, Insurance
